This analysis based on a fictional case: customers schedule of staying in hotel room is from 6:00pm to 6:00am. Customers usually turn on the vanity mirror light when in room; the common design of defogger circuit is sharing the defogger switch with vanity mirror lighting, this results in constant working of defogger for almost 12 hrs. When the new energy saving system is installed, the defogger is working for only 30 minutes, till the time, the customer takes shower.
